Salone del Mobile Milan

All Eyes on Milan for Salone del Mobile

Earlier this month, Antonio Lupi celebrated the triumphant return of the Salone del Mobile Milano, after two years in which the pandemic held this elite furniture fair in check.

The event truly was a celebration for 2022, and here are some highlights…

Attendees gleefully absorbed all that Antonio Lupi had to offer, with so many different concepts on display. Watch the video above for an inside glimpse at the event.

Antonio Lupi showed off several new designs at the salone, including the Wave sink pictured in the gallery above. Crafted with marble into a stunningly unique shape that is organic, natural, continuous, Wave seems to be generated by a folding movement of a sheet or a fabric on itself.

This freestanding sink is the first project by Massimiliano and Doriana Fuksas for Antonio Lupi. Click here for full details and specifications on the new Antonio Lupi Wave.

A new version of Bemade Cabinets also made an appearance at the fair. Designed by Carlo Colombo, the Bemade collection is an elegant and contemporary proposal, in the perfect style of Antonio Lupi.

The new wardrobe units carry all the characteristics of the original project, as a broad range of finishes and colors allows infinite possibilities for customization, extending into every room of the house with a rigorous but sophisticated accent.

Another introduction at Salone Del Mobile — Fluido, designed by Carlo Colombo. The Fluido sink provides a wall-integrated sink solution, inspired by its iconic predecessors such as Strappo, Segno, Silenzio and Calice.

Fluido highlights sinuous shapes with a relaxing, soft aesthetic... as a series of curves outline the volume of the column and the basin in a perfectly integrated way.

Made entirely of Flumood, Fluido offers the "classic" lighting above the sink, plus an additional courtesy light that comes out from under the sink as a charming accent.

Antonio Lupi also showed off the new Letteramuta shelving, by Gumdesign, aluminum shelves that symbolize the steel supporting system often used in modern and contemporary buildings.

Each Letteramuta aluminum shelf fits with discretion and elegance, not only in the bathroom, but also in all the other spaces of the home. The clean, essential image hides an unexpected multifunctionality and a wide range of customization options, both in modular and custom-made dimensions, as well as aesthetically.

Letteramuta is supplied as standard in Matt White but can be painted in all the colors of the Antonio Lupi range to better integrate into the color palette of any project.

Finally, the recently unveiled Ofuro bathtub made an appearance as well, Antonio Lupi’s contemporary reshaping of a project from the 1970s, available in either built-in or freestanding models.

A plastic form, a large sculpture, a bathtub that seems to have been made from a single block, worked, cut by the skillful hand of man or eroded by the natural force of water.
