Timeless Italian Design Since 1902
With its prestigious heritage, started in 1902 with perseverance, passion and dedication, today MisuraEmme, like Arclinea and Antonio Lupi, has become a global ambassador for Italian creativity and craftsmanship.
From the beginning, MisuraEmme realized that traditional techniques needed to incorporate new types of objects and furnishings for emerging social classes, as they sought external designers to deliver a breath of fresh air into its lineup.
Pictured here, one of MisuraEmme's historic products, the Elegie Bookcase by Ignazio Gardella – a piece from 1940 that anticipated the concept of modularity.
Then shown above, the innovative AR1 Food Trolley by Alfred Roth dated 1939.
These are still present in the collection, and prove that iconic Made in Italy designs are timeless perennials.
Of course here in 2022, we appreciate MisuraEmme as a true trailblazer of the concept of modularity, offering present-day classics with an avant-garde style inspired by those original works.
This includes one of our favorites, the Palo Alto Free -- an object of desire combining both comfort and design.

Transparency, strength, and minimalism are the staples of Palo Alto Free, to be admired in all its beauty, with perfectly engineered structural elements that adapt to any type of space.
The intersections between the supporting structure and the various shelves create a multitude of empty spaces, ideal for adding trays, drawers, pull-out shoe racks, trouser racks, and accessories, while the doors in transparent glass allow a generous 180° opening, transforming the walk-in closet into an inviting exhibition space, where every garment is displayed like a work of art.
